The day’s only match in Division One was a thriller as one of the Chingford derby matches saw close rivals, Rapid Chingford and Chingford United, go head-to-head at Parmiters. In a game of seven goals, Razvan Anghel, Dragos Aenasoaie and Ion Bostan all netted for United but their efforts proved in vain. Michael Birtalan, Danut Mihalache, Ionyut Pumnutiu and Florvin Ivancia goals made it a 4-3 Rapid win for the hosts, moving their side up to second in the table.

Trailing not far behind second place are another of the Chingford based sides as Chingford United rounded off a very positive first month of the season by recording a third win in four as they took on Wapping in Hackney. Mohammed Hussain scored the Wapping goal but a brace from Razvan Anghel was enough to give Chingford the points to take home in a 2-1 victory.

Another Chingford side making a move up the table were Chingford United who saw an end to Lymore Garden’s perfect start to the season by beating them 3-0 in Walthamstow. A goal apiece from Mihai Circiumaru, Alexandru Deftu and Razvan Anghel sufficient to take the points home to E4 with them.

CHINGFORD UNITEDÂ (1) : (3) FOREST GREEN

The division’s final match saw an opening victory for Forest Green who maintained the run they had towards the end of the last campaign with a 3-1 win this time out against Chingford United. Joshua Kibuuka scored twice and Krishan Singh once to cancel out a United goal from Alin Dumitrache.

CHINGFORD UNITEDÂ (3) : (2) MELBOURNE SPORTS

Another of the Chingford based teams and new side to the league this season, Chingford United, got their debut campaign off to a solid start with a hard fought win by the odd goal over Melbourne Sports. Ryan Lincoln scored twice for the Mels but a Dragos Aenasoaie double and goal for Bogdan Aenasoaie carried United to a 3-2 win and three points.

CHINGFORD UNITED (1) : (4) FC BARESI

Leading the way in Division One are FC Baresi who remain as one of two unbeaten sides in the division this season, aided by their most recent victory, a 4-1 win away at Chingford United in a local derby. Razvan Anghel netted for United but his effort was in vain as Delano Lloyd scored a hat-trick for the visitors along with a Marvin Smith strike which secured the win.

7-2 was a popular scoreline with two other sides in the division partaking in such a scoreline as Chingford Athletic Reserves hosted Chingford United in a… yes you guessed it… Chingford derby, albeit one in which neither side actually plays in Chingford! Diego Panessar scored a hat-trick following promotion from the development side with Michael Boahene netting twice and one each from Riley Bowers and Billy Harding completed the win. Razvan Anghel and Dragos Aenasoaie scored the United goals in consolation.

CHIGWELL(9) : (0) CHINGFORD UNITED

Chigwell have moved up to fourth in the standings after picking up a fourth league win of the season on Saturday as they were emphatic victors against Chingford United. A 9-0 win for Chigwell sees them move to within just three points of the promotion places albeit having played more matches than the sides above them.
